Trainers
Broadland Driver Training is owned and ran by Mr. Stephen Lay-Flurrie. Steve is a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) as well as a registered Cat D (PCV) Driver Trainer. Operating from the heart of the Norfolk Broads where the business name originates, Steve is confident that the success of the company will continue to offer his client’s a robust flexible training package. He has carefully developed the company using his 40-year experience in a training environment working with people of all ages, to achieve their aims and vocational career aspirations and practical skills. Driver training is about working to the abilities of individual and it is no surprise to him that all his clients who have come to Broadland have been successful at passing their modular theory training through to the practical driving test itself. Steve is also an Advanced Driver Trainer in both PCV & LGV and is an active member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) in both categories. Many of these skills have been incorporated into the DVSA modular syllabus and offers this as part of the training as well as Defensive Driving Techniques for the more experienced Cat D (PCV) vocational licence holders. This gives additional practical experience which Steve feels is a skill that is necessary on today’s roads, often on a daily basis.
